Grow BEYOND

Since March of 2022, a collaboration of church and school staff and elders has been meeting to discern the best path for expanding our space for kids’ ministry, student ministry and school operations. We have been working diligently with T&W Church Solutions to turn our needs into a workable site plan and floor plans for a new building expansion. 


This expansion will include 9 new classrooms to allow us to reach the goal of providing 2 classrooms per grade while maintaining specials rooms for Music, Art, STEAM, and Computer classes. The design also includes an extra-large group room that will provide the school with a spacious lunchroom and the church with a large group gathering room for Sunday morning children’s ministry. The church youth program will gain a large, flexible space upstairs for worship, recreation and hanging out. A new teacher's lounge, conference room, 3 offices, 4 bathrooms and storage space are included in the expansion, and intervention spaces are built into the plans for children to receive additional help during the school day. Outside, an amphitheater and shelter will be added to accommodate outdoor worship, educational and recreational gatherings and will open to the expanded playground space for both church and school use. 


We are very excited about the potential that this new space brings for the future.

Give beyond

There are many ways to give to the BEYOND campaign.  One of the most important gifts you can make is the gift of prayer.  Pray that the Lord will continue to grow His kingdom here as we faithfully grow BEYOND these walls. That he will continue to unify the church and the school, and that the children and families who come through our doors will come to know and love Him. We encourage you to read through the purpose, needs, and details for the BEYOND campaign, pray about your participation, and join us as God guides you.

    Isaiah 54: 2 – 4 Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense. For you will

    soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.


    Psalm 78:4 We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he

    has done.


    Praises and Prayer Requests for this week:


    Thank God for how he has and is working through this project and his people and for the vision.


    Thank God for allowing us to purchase the last piece of property needed to expand.


    Thank God for being faithful to us and for the faithfulness of his people.


    Ask God would make all of the details of the project come together in a timely easy fashion – the final design, the

    amount of money needed, the amount of money pledged, and unity with the city planning department.


    We ask that you begin preparing hearts and planting seeds of the students and families who will be using this

    building and learning about Him.


    Pray:


    God, you have been faithful in ALL things. When we see all things come together with ease we rejoice because we

    know your hand is in it. We thank you for the vision. We thank you for the people who have worked on the

    project so far and their expertise. We thank you for the last property needed to come available last spring. We

    thank you and praise you for the funding that has already been provided or pledged and for the hearts of those

    who are planning on pledging. We pray your blessings over these people.


    Father, you are Sovereign and we marvel at how you weave our lives together. We are in awe what you have done

    in the life of Clear Creek Christian Church and School. May you be praised for the beautiful tapestry of lives you

    have woven together. May we be faithful with the next generation. May even the details of this project bring you praise and honor. May every detail come together easily and thoughtfully and with unity.

  • Week 2


    “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Colossians 4:2

    God, thank you for every single dollar that has been raised so far in this campaign. We are thankful for

    the people who have been prompted by You to give. Please bless them.

    Thank you for the Dessert Auction, the funds raised, the people who put it all together, the sweet

    fellowship, and the hearts of everyone who gave.

    Again, we thank you for the vision and the lives that will be changed because of this new addition.


    Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among

    you.” Joshua 3:5


    Create in me a clean heart, O God, Renew a loyal spirit within me. Psalm 51:10

    Father, let us be reminded that we can do nothing on our own. We need you for everything. Let us not

    get wrapped up in our own selves of what we want for our selfish needs. Purify us and give us clean

    hearts for you that yearn to do your will. Use us and our gifts to tell others of your salvation and further

    your kingdom.


    Ephesians 6 and 1 John 4:4 Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. AND Matthew 5:16

    Father, we put on the full armor of God and we stand firm against the enemy.

    Father, you are in the details. We see in nature how you are in the details and there will be plenty of

    details that need to be taken care of in this building project; city planning, building permits, green areas,

    water system, etc. The list is numerous. Please be in the details of everything. Let permits and such be

    granted with ease and as we work with city planning and a multitude of other people, may the people of

    Clear Creek Christian Church and School be a light for you.


    “Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord.” Psalm

    102:18


    And as always, as we pray for the future generations who will use this building. That they will praise

    you, honor you, pray to you, be obedient to you, serve you, share you with others, and above all – they

    will LOVE YOU.

  • Week 3


    Ephesian 3: 20 - 21 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. 


    Praise and Thanksgiving and Petitions


    ALL glory belongs to you God! May we glorify your name in all we do at Clear Creek Christian Church and School! All Glory to YOU, Jesus! You continue to work in and through your people as you have worked for multiple generations on this corner of Bloomington. 


    We thank you for your unlimited resources. We thank you for our inner strength that comes directly from you. We thank you for making your home in our hearts. We trust you Father. We trust you with the BEYOND project. We trust that every detail will be carried out the way you want it to be and we pray for those details – complete funding, people giving in all sorts of creative ways, getting necessary building documents in a timely fashion, provision and safety of crews and materials all the way down to the nails. We thank you for this BEYOND project and how it will continue to tell the next generation how wide, long, high, and deep your love is for us. 


    We thank you for YOUR mighty power that You have given to us and that is at work WITHIN us. May we see that power through this project - that this has not come from anything WE have done but this has all been YOU. 


    We pray that YOU would accomplish with that power infinitely more than we can ever ask or even think of asking. And we humbly thank you, Father, for everything – every dollar, every giving person, every prayer, every child who will hear your word. We thank you.

    God, it’s amazing how you use us – imperfect as we are to carry out your will in our lives. How frustrated you must be with us sometimes as we are so self-centered. May we consecrate ourselves and ask for forgiveness for those things we do and think that are opposite of your ways. Transform us by renewing our minds. May we keep you front and center always. Every day. Every minute.
